How do you make Valentine’s Day Donuts?
Since the dough has to rise, this can be a time consuming recipe. I would recommend making the donuts the night before and then icing them and adding sprinkles the morning of Valentine’s Day.

In a small bowl mix flour, yeast, and sugar.

Add eggs.
Continue mixing the dough, add milk and butter.
Try to form a rounded dough.
Cover the mixture with kitchen towel and put aside somewhere warm to rise for about 2 hours.
Lay a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Sprinkle your surface with flour. Roll out dough. Cut out rounds using a round cutter. To cut small holes use ¾ inch cutter.
Preheat a deep frying pan with vegetable oil or a deep fat fryer and carefully place each donut, cook 1-2 at a time for about 2 minutes then flip on the other side.
Place on a plate and leave to cool.

Add water to powdered sugar and mix it slowly, pour the glaze onto each donut and decorate them with orange, pink and white sprinkles.
