These Halloween Spider Web Pretzels can be made with ingredients found at Dollar General, Family Dollar, and even Dollar Tree. These are frightfully delicious and easy to make.
I love making Halloween treats, especially inexpensively with ingredients from the dollar stores.
They’re a fun little edible craft project you can make with tweens or teens, too. And, perfect for snacking on while watching a scary Halloween movie!

What do you need to make Halloween Spider Web Pretzels?
These take just two ingredients. You’ll need a chocolate bar and stick pretzels. You can use white chocolate, milk chocolate, or dark chocolate. If you have chocolate chips on hand, those work just as well, too.
I would recommend staying away from chocolate that has stuff in it because it will clog the bag as you pipe it. You want to be able to pipe the chocolate smoothly using a ziplock bag or a pastry bag.
How do you make Halloween Spider Web Pretzels?
Place wax paper on a cookie sheet in front of you. You can also use parchment paper, but I find wax paper is best for easily releasing the chocolate.
Lay out 8 pretzels in an asterisk shape.
Break the chocolate bar into squares and put them into a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the chocolate in 30 second increments, stirring after each time. Continue microwaving until the chocolate is completely smooth.
Transfer the chocolate into a ziplock bag or a pastry bag. If using a ziplock bag, put the chocolate into one corner of the bag. Gently release any air in the bag and seal it closed. Then, twist the bag above the chocolate to get it all down to that one corner.
When you’re ready to make the webs, snip off the very tip of the ziplock bag corner (or pastry bag). Hold the bag tightly and start in the center and pipe a fairly thick circle or blob to connect all the pretzels. Then, work your way out in a spiral.
Allow the chocolate to cool for about an hour. If you want to speed that time up, pop the cookie sheet of webs into the freezer for about 10 minutes.
Then, enjoy your spider-y treats!
