Where do you put the Halloween glowing eyes?
Anywhere it’s pitch dark. You can hide them in trees or bushes, or even in the flower bed.
We have bushes along the front of our house that work just perfectly to hide these Halloween glowing eyes.
If you’re planning to have these in your bushes or home for Halloween, simply prep the tubes in advance and activate the glow sticks just before nightfall.
This is the perfect craft to make while waiting for it to get dark on Halloween night. You don’t want to put them out before the night of Halloween since a glow stick usually only lasts 8-12 hours.
How do you make Halloween Glowing Eyes?
These are so easy to make, and the kids can totally help!
Draw the design for your eye shape on the paper roll. Definitely, be creative because they don’t all have to match.
Have the grownup carefully cut out the eyes using an Exacto knife and scissors.
Seal one end of the paper roll with a piece of duct tape. If you’re having trouble positioning the paper rolls, you may want to try a few strands of duct tape. I sometimes will seal the other end after adding the glow stick as well.
Now it’s time to decorate! Place your paper rolls in bushes, trees or shrubs around your home.
Light up the glow sticks & insert them into the tubes. Watch as the eyes glow around you.
