Who doesn’t love unicorns? This Unicorn Sensory Bottle is the perfect enchanting activity to make with the kids. It’s great for a calm down or time out time to relax and feel better.
A sensory bottle is a fantastic tool for engaging children’s senses for relaxation and mindfulness. Sequins, glitter, and unicorn buttons make this unicorn-themed sensory bottle a simple craft to make.

What do you need to make a Unicorn Sensory Bottle?
You can find most of this at the craft store or Walmart and most definitely Amazon. And, you don’t have to buy these things exactly, you can use other colors, beads, etc.
Michaels sells single bottles of these wide mouth sensory bottles or you can purchase Voss bottled water, and they come in the wide mouth bottles that work perfect for sensory bottles. I’ve made them using those bottles before.
- wide mouth sensory bottle
- 1 (5oz.) bottle of clear school glue
- fish beads (pink and white)
- turquoise beads
- sequins (purple, pink, turquoise)
- glitter (purple, pink, iridescent)
- unicorn buttons
- silver confetti stars
- water
- optional: tape
How do you make a Unicorn Sensory Bottle?
Pour all of the glue into the sensory bottle.
Add the fish beads.
Add the turquoise beads.
Add the glitter and sequins.
Add the confetti stars.
Add the unicorn buttons.
Fill the bottle with water. Do not overfill. Use tape to secure the bottle if desired.
Shake up the contents of the bottle and watch them float and move around!
If you see bubbles forming from the glue, you can scrape them off of the top and then fill with more water until they settle down.
