What is Whipped Sugar Scrub?
It’s a soft and whipped up version of sugar scrub.
What is Whipped Sugar Scrub good for?
So many things! The sugar exfoliates the skin, while the oil restores moisture. It has incredible benefits for your skin like removing the dead skin cells and using it regularly will help keep your skin smooth and soft.
I would NOT use it for your face since coconut oil can clog pores.
What do you need to make this Rose Vanilla Whipped Sugar Scrub?
You will need a few things to make this recipe:
- Measuring cups and measure spoons
- Handheld mixer
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup solid coconut oil
- ¼ tsp pink mica powder
- 10 drops vanilla essential oil
- 5 drops rose essential oil
How do you make this Whipped Sugar Scrub?
Add the sugar and coconut oil to a bowl and beat on high speed for one minute.
Add mica and essential oil to the bowl. Beat for another minute until these are incorporated into the mixture.
Then, beat the mixture for an additional three minutes until it becomes light and fluffy.
Transfer the mixture to a jar or airtight container.
How often do you use a Whipped Sugar Scrub?
I recommend using in shower once or twice per week to exfoliate.
And, you don’t just have to use it in the shower, it also makes a great hand scrub to exfoliate your hands.
How To Store Whipped Sugar Scrub
This whipped sugar scrub should be stored at room temperature in an air-tight jar. The consistency may change if it’s stored for an extended period since coconut oil will melt or harden with temperature changes. I recommend keeping it in a place with a consistent temperature such as the bathroom cabinet or under the bathroom sink.
Don’t store it in the shower because the mixture can melt from being near a hot shower.
IMPORTANT: Make sure no water gets into the sugar scrub because that can allow bacteria to grow in it. Keep water out of the jar to prevent this!

How Long Does Whipped Sugar Scrub Last?
You can safely store your homemade whipped sugar scrub for at least three months, as long as you avoid any water contamination in the jar.
It can lose some of its whipped feel after a while, so make it in small batches to prevent this from happening.
