What do you need to make Whipped Body Butter?
How do you make Sensitive Skin Whipped Body Butter?
Add the ingredients to a heat safe bowl or measuring cup.
Heat on HIGH in the microwave for 1 minute. Remove it from the microwave and give it a good stir.
Continue heating for additional 30 second increments and make sure to stir it after each 30 seconds. Do this until it’s all completely melted.
Refrigerate the melted body butter for about 1 hour until it’s solidified.
After an hour, remove from the fridge and use an electric mixer or transfer the mixture to a stand mixer.
Then, beat on high for 5 minutes. Every minute or so stop and scrape the sides down.
After about five minutes, you should be left with a light and fluffy cream. When it’s this texture and doubled in size, you’re finished whipping it. But, if it’s still not there, keep whipping it until becomes light and fluffy.
Add mixture to a jar and seal with lid.
How to keep the Whipped Body Butter?
Once it’s made, transfer to the jar and close the lid. Keep it stored at room temperature until you’re ready to use or gift as gifts.
Can you make this ahead of time?
Absolutely! It lasts a long time, so I make it up ahead about a week if I have time. But, if you’re in a pinch for a gift, this is also something quick you can make in a day.
