How do you make Glinda’s Berry Tarts
These are super easy to throw together and taste amazingly delicious.
Let the puff pastry thaw on the counter for about an hour or so.
Set the cream cheese on the counter to thaw for an hour or two.

When the cream cheese is softened, add 1/4 cup of sugar and use a mixer to beat it together until smooth. Then, set aside.
Preheat the oven to 400 F degrees.
Lay a piece of parchment paper or a silicone baking mat on a large cookie sheet.
Unroll the puff pastry onto the parchment paper, cut into 4-6 rectangles.
Do this same thing to a second cookie sheet, with parchment paper or baking mat, unrolling and cutting the puff pastry.
Spoon about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each rectangle of puff pastry, smoothing it out, but leaving about 1/2 inch around the edges.
Take the sliced strawberries and raspberries and sprinkle them over the cream cheese.
To brown the edges of the puff pastry, we can use an egg wash or we can use milk or cream.
Break the egg into a small bowl and add a little bit of water. Beat the egg until it’s completely mixed with the water.
If you’re using milk or cream, just pour some into a small bowl.
Take a basting brush and brush the egg wash (or cream/milk) around the sides of each puff pastry rectangle.

Take the turbinado sugar and sprinkle it all over each tart, especially the bare edges.
Bake for 15-25 minutes, until the edges are browned and puffed up.
Remove from oven and allow to cool before transferring to a platter.
Sprinkle powdered sugar over each tart.

Can you make these ahead of time?
Yes! I made them the morning of our party. You could probably make them the night before and just keep them in the fridge in a sealed container.
They don’t need to be served warm.

When emotionally guarded Wren inherits her eccentric aunt’s cottage on the edge of a forgotten forest, she expects dust, cobwebs, and maybe a few bad memories—not a living, breathing myth. There, among the tangled trees and whispered magic, she meets Ash—a smirking, sharp-tongued satyr and the last of his kind. As the forest stirs with old secrets and ancient longing, Wren finds herself drawn to the magic—and to the immortal trickster who might just be her undoing. Where the Wild Things Want You is a steamy, spell-soaked romantasy novella perfect for fans of slow-burn magic, prickly hearts, and love that grows like ivy through the cracks.
