Who loves a creepy tablescape for Halloween? I love a good creepy eyeball decoration like these DIY Dollar Store Halloween Eyeball Jars.
I have seen these Halloween eyeball ornaments every year at Dollar Tree and wasn’t quite sure what to do with them until now.

How do you make Dollar Tree Halloween Eyeball Jars?
These jars are super easy to put together.
First, add about a 1-inch layer of black rocks to the bottom of the mason jar.
Then, add a 1-inch layer of moss on top of the rocks.
Next, place the eyeball ornament so that the top part of the ornament that sticks out goes down into the moss and is hidden. If you want to really secure it, you can add a dollop of hot glue to the top part of the ornament and push that into the moss to hold securely.
Add a glue dot to the center of the inside of the lid and stick the electronic tea light onto it. It’s easy to pull the light off and on the glue dot, so you can turn it on and off.
Screw the lid on and your eyeball jar is ready!
I like to make 3 jars with different colored eyes.
To decorate the mantle or a niche:
- Drape a gray creepy cloth down and add small skeletons, bugs, spiders, etc. around it.
- Add 3-5 electronic tea lights around the creepy cloth.
- Lay the metal mirrored plate down in the middle of all this and set the mason jars around the plate.
- Decorate the plate with some added moss, extra rocks, and additional bugs and creepy things.
