Last night I made Peach Blondies, and they were to die for. I’m going to show you how to easily make these peach blondies (also known as brownies) and you’ll be amazed and how simple yet delicious they are. When I think of “brownies,” I think of chocolate, but these are actually a blondie recipe with fresh peaches baked inside. They’re so freaking delicious.
And… you can switch out the flour for gluten free that is cup per cup, which is what I did so our celiac kid could enjoy the dessert. And it still came out deliciously perfect.

Are you a 90s kid?
You’ll never guess where I found the recipe. Are you a 90s kid? That would be me. Do you remember watching Zoom on PBS Kids after school? It was this show done by kids where kids around the country sent in recipes, games, jokes, etc. Recently, I found an obscure recipe from Zoom that my kids have gone wild about (I’ll be sharing it very soon.) But I went down a rabbit hole and found an old textual website with all the recipes Zoom cafe had shared.
Ingredients to make Peach Brownies (Blondies)
This will make an 8 x 8 size pan of Peach Brownies. I recommend doubling the ingredients and making a 9 x 13 pan because it will be devoured completely.
Here’s what you will need to make it:
- 1 to 1/2 cups frozen peaches or 15 oz can of canned sliced peaches
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 cup sugar – I like to switch this out for 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour – all purpose flour or switch out for 1:1 gluten free flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
How do you make Peach Blondies

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Slice the peaches. If you want you can peel fresh ones and slice them up. But I like easy, so I used frozen, and they were already peeled.
In a large mixing bowl cream together the softened butter with the sugar with an electric mixer. You can use all white sugar, or you can use all brown sugar or go half and half. I used half and half.
Beat in 1 egg.
Combine the flour, cinnamon, and baking powder.
Add the flour mixture a little bit at a time while you stir it into the butter mixture.
Add the sliced peaches. Remember, you can use frozen, canned, or fresh.
The batter will be a very thick mixture, transfer it into the baking pan greased with butter. When you do, try to distribute the peaches evenly around the pan.
Bake the brownies at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. With the gluten free flour, I went with 45 minutes, but I’d recommend letting it go a little longer to 50 minutes or so to really firm up. Our peach blondies were very soft, but then again, my family could not wait to eat them once they were out of the oven. If they’d cooled longer, they might have firmed up more.

How do you store leftover Peach Blondies?
Since they have fruit in them, I put them in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days and just reheat in the microwave when you’re ready to eat.
Toppings for Peach Blondies
When you serve the Peach Blondies, you can serve them as just bars, but adding toppings is just so much more fun. Here’s a list of what we like to top our Peach Blondies with:
- Vanilla Ice Cream
- Fresh Whipped Cream
- Caramel Sauce
- Dulce de Leche
- Sweetened Condensed Milk
- No Bake Cheesecake
- Nuts (Walnuts, Pecans, etc.)
- Crushed Pretzels
- Marshmallow Fluff
- Marshmallows
- Candy Bar Pieces (Snickers, Butterfinger, etc.)
- White Chocolate Drizzle
- Butterscotch Sauce
There’s just so much you can add to a Peach Blondie.
