These Easy Baked BBQ Chicken Legs are simple to make, and perfect when you don’t want to stand outside in 110 F degree weather grilling. They are simple to make and you can use your favorite barbecue sauce. We love using either Sweet Baby Ray’s or Head Country.

Ingredients
- chicken legs
- olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
- paprika
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- cayenne pepper
- barbeque sauce
How do you make Baked BBQ Chicken Legs
Preheat the oven to 400 F degrees. Line a cookie sheet with foil.
Mix olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and cayenne pepper together in a large bowl.
Add the chicken legs and toss to coat.
Place them spread out on the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and brush with barbeque sauce.
Bake for 7-8 minutes.
Turn the chicken legs over, brush with more barbecue sauce.
Bake for an additional 7-8 minutes.
Turn the broiler on HIGH.
Brush more sauce on the chicken legs.
Broil for 3-4 minutes.
Flip the chicken legs one last time.
Brush again with more barbecue sauce.
Broil for an additional 3-4 minutes.
Check the internal temperature is at least 165 F degrees and the juices run clear.
Serve immediately.
How do you store leftover baked bbq chicken legs?
Keep in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes or the microwave.
