Need a last minute Valentine? I whipped these up for my preschooler last night. I saw a picture on Pinterest for pudding cups made into Minions awhile ago, but I searched and could not find any instructions to make them, so I made my own. With a free printable, too!
You can whip these up tonight for the Valentine’s class party tomorrow, and they are so easy and fun to make, and everyone will love them!
I spent a little time making my own Minion on PicMonkey last night, and I think it came out pretty cute. Just click HERE to get a PDF of these Minion Valentines for FREE!
Pudding Cup Minion Valentines
- 1 sheet of Shiny Silver metal card stock
- 1.5-inch hole punch
- 1-inch googly eyes
- 1 roll of black Duct tape Ducklings mini rolls (.75 inch)
- Baker’s twine
- Clear treat bags
- Large Snack Pack pudding cups
- Red or pink spoons
- Elmer’s glue or hot glue
Break apart the Snack Pack puddings and then pull of about a 5-inch piece of black duct tape and place around the middle of each Snack Pack.
Using the hole punch, punch as many silver punchouts as you need for the eyes. I know some Minions have two eyes, but for these I just used one googly eye.
You can use Elmer’s glue or hot glue to attach the googly eye to the very center of the silver punch. Regular glue will take a bit to let dry.
Once the glue is dry on the googly eye, then glue it to the center of the duct tape. I used hot glue for this since I didn’t want them to slide off.
Cut out the valentines from the printable, and punch a hole in one corner.
Insert each pudding cup into a treat bag and add a spoon. Then, cut pieces of baker’s twine.
Insert the baker’s twine in the hole of each valentine, and tie the bags shut.
That’s it! I hope you have a great Valentine’s Day!
