School is out! Who’s ready for a bunch of fun? I know my kids are. Well, first they are ready for some sleeping late, but then they’re ready for fun. We came up with these lists together full of fun stuff they like to do.
I’ve never actually written down a bucket list before. But, every summer I always think of things I did as a kid, and I try to make sure my kids get to do a bunch of them. I had a pretty good childhood with fun memories, and I want them to have similar memories, too.

Summer Bucket List
Having four kids who are all 5-6 years apart, we have teens, a tween, and a toddler right now. So, we came up with lists that would be fun for each of them.
Summertime Fun
Our schools start in mid August and get out before Memorial Day. They changed that about two years ago, and I just love it. Going to school in June is just not fun. So, we’ve already had a bit of a head start on summer.
Here’s a few things we’ve already knocked off our lists:
- Go swimming.
- Go to the splash pad.
- Get a snow cone.
- Make slime.
- Visit grandma and grandpa.
- Build a tower.
- Eat breakfast for dinner.
- Watch a sunset.
- See a movie.
- Make homemade pizza.
We’ve got plans to finish up as much as these lists as we can before school starts back up in August.
