What do you need to play the Preschool Ice Cream Shop Game?
You will need some sticky velcro dots and scissors. I found 20-packs at Dollar Tree and used about 2 packages.
You’ll also want to use cardstock to print this to make it last.
While it’s not needed, I definitely recommend laminating the game so it will last longer. I bought one of these Scotch laminators a few years ago, and I use it so much for so many things from homeschooling to craft projects. I also have this 100 pack of laminator pouches. It will last a long time.
How do you play Preschool Ice Cream Shop Printable Game?
Check out this video:
If you’re going to laminate the game, laminate everything before you cut it out It makes it much easier to laminate.
After laminating, add velcro sticky dots everywhere you see the dotted circles on the ice cream shop pages. (Make sure you put the velcro part that will stick to the ones you put on the pack of the ice cream stuff.)
Laminate and cut out the ice cream orders.
Third, after laminating cut out all the ice cream, cones, toppings, etc.
Add the opposite sticky velcro dots (so they’ll stick) you used on the ice cream shop pages to the back of the foods.
Now it’s time to play!
- Have your child choose an ice cream order.
- Lay the Ice Cream Shop page with the table in front of them.
- Lay out the ice cream shop pages above with all the products and let them find everything to make the ice cream order.
You could print a second Ice Cream Shop Page and have two children play at the same time. Just make sure their ice cream orders don’t overlap.
