I’ve been a lover of books since I was a kid. I try to instill that same love in my kids, so we are always reading books together. Around Thanksgiving, we start reading holiday books. You can follow along as we read through 30 Days of Christmas Books!
Even as a grownup, I still like reading picture books, and do you know what’s even better? When they rhyme! I love a picture book with rhyming. There’s just something satisfying about reading one to everybody. Sometimes when I’m reading one in a public place to my kids like the library or a doctor’s office, other kids gather around to listen, too. And, I just love that! I often wonder if my dream job would have been reading audio books.
Some of the best picture books are holiday-themed ones like The Polar Express and Click Clack Ho! Ho! Ho! But, there’s a special place in my heart for the rhyming Christmas books like The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and Madeline’s Christmas. I will read those to my kids over and over again because they are just so fun to read out loud. This post contains affiliate links.
