If there’s one thing we like to do around here, it’s make slime! With the popularity of our Halloween slimes, Christmas-themed slime was bound to happen like this Christmas Elf on the Shelf Sparkle Slime.
Now you can get your mischievous little Elf on the Shelf in on the slime. In fact, maybe he’ll whip up a batch while the kids are sleeping! Wouldn’t that be fun to find? This post contains affiliate links.
This would be so fun as a gift for your kids’ Christmas party or even just a little DIY gift for your kids to give friends.
It’s pretty easy to make. This makes one 8 oz jar, but you can halve that and put it in 4 oz jars, and it makes two. You can also multiple the recipe easily to make more!
Christmas Elf on the Shelf Sparkle Slime
Ingredients
- 1/2 tablespoon of baking soda
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of contact lens solution
- 1 6 fl oz clear Elmer’s Glue bottle
- 1 tablespoon of Green Glitter
- 2 teaspoon of Kelly Green food coloring
Directions
In the large bowl combine the glue, baking soda, contact solution, glitter, and food coloring and mix until well combined. You’ll feel the slime start to thicken, which means it’s done. Then, knead it and squish it just a bit to get into full slime mode.
Your Christmas Elf Sparkle Slime is ready for play time immediately! Just be careful not to get sparkle slime on your little Elf because it might stain.
When you’re ready to package it up, simply scoop the slime into the mason jar with your hands.
What kind of hi-jinks does your little Elf on the Shelf get into?
