Do you ever grill fruit? These Grilled Plums are absolutely amazing and perfect for any easy summer dessert! You’re gonna love ’em!

When we plan meals to grill, Nate and I often try to figure out a way to grill everything from the side dishes to the main dish, even the salad and dessert.
A few days ago I had planned a meal of grilled shrimp. The last time we had shrimp kabobs my 5 yr old fell in love with shrimp. If I can find a meal that girl will actually eat, I like to make it often.
I quartered squash and drizzled it in olive oil and minced garlic. Then, I skewered jumbo shrimp and made creamy lemon butter sauce. I saved some for dipping and brushed it all over the shrimp. So, so good! Stay tuned, the recipe for my heavenly creamy lemon butter sauce will be coming very soon!
When I was buying groceries earlier in the day, I grabbed a few plums — not too ripe, just a tiny bit squishy. I washed them and cut them half and removed the seeds. Then, I added a teaspoon of brown sugar to the center of each.
Cook them for about 10 minutes until they get a bit more squishy and the brown sugar had melted. Then, take them off the grill and let them sit about 20 minutes.
Oh my gosh, these are divine! They tasted heavenly and come out so tender. It was almost like eating a dumpling without the crust. I just love how the juices dye themselves purple from the darkness of the plum skin. It’s so deliciously sweet pooled under each plum.
This is such a super simple dessert, and it comes out looking so lovely and elegant. It just couldn’t be easier. It grills while you grill dinner, and then voila! You have dessert ready to go.

Yummy, this sounds so good. I’m sad my grill is broken. Maybe the griddle will suffice. I’m thinking grilled peaches.
