With the end of school and summer days upon us, Memorial Day Weekend is the perfect time for a get together, and I’ve got one you can literally throw together in minutes. It’s a Make Your Own Tostada Bar!
All you do is set out tostadas and all the ingredients. It couldn’t be easier! Here’s how I like to do it:
For a patriotic flair, I used dollar store bandanas overlapped across the table instead of a tablecloth. If it’s windy and you’re hosting an outside party, just use some duct tape strategically under the bandanas.
I also made some chalkboard style printables that I put in frames around the table that I picked up from the dollar store. You can download the free printables.
There’s no recipes you need to put together. When I need to make a party spread fast, I buy everything ready to go at the store, even the chopped onions and guacamole. Here’s what I like to put across the table for a make your own tostada bar:
- Chopped onions
- Pico de gallo
- Guacamole
- Tostadas
- black beans
- Cheese
- Jalapenos
- Taco sauce
- Salsa
- NEW Chobani Mezé™ Dips
There’s four different globally-inspired flavors and like all Chobani products are made with only natural, non-GMO ingredients! Chobani Mezé Dips are delicious dips with thick and creamy Chobani yogurt as veggies. I easily found them in the deli section at the Walmart.
- Roasted Red Pepper – a sweet and slightly hot, mix of roasted peppers
- Three Pepper Salsa – a light blend of green peppers, chili peppers & jalapeno peppers with herbs
- Smoked Onion Parmesan – rich mix that combines bold onion flavor with nutty parmesan
- Chili Lime – a tangy blend of lime and light spice, with ranch-style herbs
These are Mediterranean inspired dips. Mezé is a Turkish word and is pronounced “meh-zay,” It means taste, flavor, and snack. It’s part of a small plate of savory food with strained yogurt as a base and served as part of a social gathering.
Chobani Mezé Dips are perfect for a laid back kind of gathering. Just set them out with pita chips, veggies, or even tostadas! Your guests are just going to love them, and they’ll never even realize they’re nutritious, too!
Chobani Mezé Dips will be a great addition for your next summer party, pool party, picnic, bbq, and even just to keep in the fridge for that unexpected guest.
Slip a cooler under the table or next to it for easy access to drinks. To finish off our table, I found some patriotic flower pinwheels and some colored mason jars at the dollar store perfect for adding a little festiveness to the table.
Wasn’t that quick and easy? Now we’re ready to party!
Don’t forget to grab a Walmart coupon for the new Chobani Mezé Dips before heading out to the store!

I can not begin to express how hungry this made me… Haha.I should not be up at 2am looking at food. However, this is the second time I have heard about these dips and I am starting to wonder if i’d like them. I think I will have to try one out, maybe two. lol The Roasted Red Pepper to the Three Pepper Salsa sound yummy to me.
For one of my kids” parties I had a taco bar and it made party prep so much easier and everyone could customize their meal. Your set up looks great.
That is one yummy looking tostada bar. I’ll have to pick up some of that dip, it sounds incredible.
We love tostadas so the idea of a tostada bar would be perfect for parties. I need to try these new dips from Chobani as well.
This looks like an awesome time to spend with friends and family. I Love the color and decor, plus those printables are pretty nifty!
Cool! My friends are actually planning a house party. Since we all love tostadas, this could be a great idea. This is great for kids and kids at heart like us. Thanks for this. 😀
This looks like such fun. Would be perfect for a night get together out in the backyard! I would love to do something like this. Never had a tostada bar before!

This is a great idea to have a Tostada bar for Memorial Day get together. We love Mexican food and it would be perfect opportunity to try the new Chobani Meze Dips. Thanks for sharing the idea.
This is a brilliant idea. I have to do this next time I have my daughter’s friends over. I think they would have so much fun with a tostada bar being able to pick and choose their toppings.
This is really and festive and cute. This is my favorite kind of meal during the warm months.
I love this idea. We make tostadas, but i have never thought about making an outdoor bar with it. How fun.
I really like this idea. It looks yummier than a salad bar to me! Also, more filling and can be made spicery too! Great idea for summer outdoor parties.
Sounds like a perfect and fun plan party idea! Love the tostada bar, maybe i should host a party this summer
This is something new to try for me. We’ve had tacos but never tostada! I love it.
What a wonderful idea for a kids party or even a family get together! Thank you for sharing.
I’m not sure how to prepare the tostada itself…right out of package, warmed in oven, heated on stovetop….???
I use them just out of the package. They are never stale. My mom prefers to heat them up in the toaster oven or oven, but I really think there’s no difference.
