How to make the 3-Eyed Yarn Monster
Begin by painting the paper cup. Choose a craft paint that will be a close match to the yarn you’ll be using.
Once it has dried, use a pen to divide the cup into three.
Cut the yarn into about 2 1/2-inch short pieces and attach them at the top line and the middle line you marked on the paper cup until it is all covered.
Glue additional cut pieces to the bottom of the cup (which is now the top of the monster) to cover it.
Print off the pattern pieces and trace the monster’s mouth: piece from the brown paper and a the tongue piece from the red paper.
Trace the teeth onto cardstock and cut them out.
Glue the teeth and tongue to the brown mouth. Let dry for a few minutes.
Attach the mouth to the yarn monster.
Make three slits at the top of the paper cup.
Add a googly eye to each popsicle stick. Insert them into the holes.
Trace the hand patterns onto cardstock and cut them out. Then, attach the hands to the yarn monster.
Now your 3-eyed monster is now ready!
