What kind of pan do you cook this cookie pizza cake in?
I have a very old 16-inch deep dish pizza pan with a removable bottom. It’s from the 1970s, and it was a wedding gift my mom got. I have made cookie pizzas in it since I was a teenager. In fact, I think I was the only one who used it in all the years she had it.
Unforrtunately, I can’t find a 16-inch size deep dish pizza pan that has a removable bottom anywhere. I did find this 12-inch springform pan, and I bought and use it to make cookie pizzas in a smaller size with it. This one will work great to make cookie pizzas. And if you go ask for a pizza box at a pizza restaurant, they’ll usually just give you one and not make you pay for it.
How to make a Friendship Bracelet Cookie Cake
Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.
Spray a 12-inch springform pan with non-stick oil spray.
Combine flour, salt, and baking soda in a medium-sized bowl. Set aside.
In a large bowl combine butter and sugars. Beat with an electric mixedr for 2 minutes, until fluffy.
Add vanilla and beat to incorporate.
Add eggs one at a time, beating until just incorporated.
Add 1/2 cup of flour at a time until completely incorporated.
Remove bowl from mixer and stir in chocolate chips.
Spread into pan.
Bake for about 23-26 minutes, until cookie is done.
Allow to cool completely.
Use the edible ink marker to make Mega Smarties into your favorite songs. These edible ink markers are the best ones I’ve ever used. They’re dark, they don’t run out, and they have two tips, a fine point, and a thicker point.
Cut the ropes into bite-size pieces for beads in the bracelets.
Then decorate the cookie pizza with candies, using the frosting as glue to hold the pieces down.
Add a border of frosting stars around the edge of the cookie.
Serve immediately.
