Supplies for Ramiel’s Bounty Charcuterie Board
First off, you’ll need a tray. I use a 16-inch circular one. This round metal tray pictured is one I found at Walmart years ago, but here’s a few options I think would be lovely and worthy of a ACOTAR party:
- Galvanized 17-inch circular tray
- Wooden 18-inch circular tray
- Set of 2 Industrial Iron 11.6-inch and 12-inch circular trays – These would be great to make two smaller charcuterie boards to place at different ends of the table.
- Deep wooden 16-inch circular tray
Secondly, you’ll need some star cookie cutters. I got this set of four different-sized star cutters. We were able to cut the brie into a star as well as cheese slices into smaller tiny stars. We even used the tiniest cutter for cutting stars and placing them around a fruit tray we’d put together.
Ingredients for Ramiel’s Bounty Night Court Charcuterie Board
This is a list of exactly what I used to make this charcuterie board, but don’t feel like you need to stick with it. I concentrated on foods that went along with the whole “high fae” theme and with dark colors for the Night Court.
For the crackers, you can find Black Sesame crackers and the seeded Mary’s Gone Crackers at many grocery stores. They aren’t hard to find. You can also use slices of dark brown bread.
- Brie
- Whipped cream cheese
- Blackberry jam
- Deli Salami slices
- Provolone cheese slices
- Gouda cheese slices
- Blackberries
- Black seedless grapes
- Mini chocolate muffins
- Dried plums
- Broken dark chocolate bars
- Dark chocolate truffles
- Black Sesame Crackers
- Dark Seeded Crackers
Tips for making the Charcuterie Board
- Cut the cheeses into stars or smaller pieces to make it last longer.
- Fold the salami slices into fourths, like a taco and then and slotted each one together to form a chain.
- Keep the cold things cold until the last minute before seving
- Keep the sweet stuff as far away from the meats and cheeses, such as keeping the salami away from the chocolate.
- You can’t really make it wrong, just buy enough supplies to make it look full, and just add the leftovers as it’s eaten.
- Use ramekins and small bowls to add variation and keep it looking full, such as adding dips like whipped cream cheese to a small bowl.
- Spread the crackeres in small groups across the board, so they aren’t in just one place for easy access.
