My kids love chicken alfredo, so I recently whipped it up into a casserole version with broccoli – Chicken Alfredo Broccoli Bake Casserole. Thank you Ragú® for sponsoring this post!
Just recently our youngest turned 5. We invited our families over to celebrate with a Ragú® Saucesome party. One half of the family loves alfredo sauce and the other half love red sauce, so to please them all I made two pasta bakes for a late lunch. Today, I’m sharing the recipe for Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Bake that my family devoured.
Miss Molly could not wait for everyone to show up for her party.

How do you make Chicken Alfredo Broccoli Bake Casserole?
Ragú® Classic Alfredo has a delicious taste your whole family will love. I used Ragú® Classic Alfredo and made my own spin on their Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo recipe. I turned it into a casserole dish to thicken it all up.
Both my older kids helped me cook. My oldest, Miss Em, cooked the pasta.
I had her add the frozen broccoli straight in with the pasta to cook it at the same time.
I keep grilled chicken slices in the freezer for quick and easy meals, so I decided to use that instead of raw chicken breasts. It’s already cooked and sliced! I heated the chicken up for about a minute and then added the Alfredo sauce. After it started boiling, I let it simmer on low while the pasta and broccoli continued cooking.
Instead of 9-10 minutes, I cooked the fettuccine just 8 minutes and drained it with the broccoli. I didn’t want either to get mushy while it was baking. Once drained, I added it straight back in the hot pot without rinsing.
Next, I poured the sauce and chicken into the pasta and mix. Then, added it to a 9 x 13 casserole dish.
I sprinkled Parmesan cheese all over the top and baked it at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. I turned on the broiler for the last 3-5 minutes. Then, I let it sit for about 5 minutes before serving while we set the table.

While the pasta was baking and we waited for our guests to arrive, we had a dance party! Now, this is how to have a Saucesome party!
Grandma and Grandpa were the first to show up. That was a good thing since Grandma was bringing the plates and utensils!
She helped me set the table quickly since everyone was getting hungry. We topped the meal off with Italian salad, garlic bread, and Miss Molly’s favorite fruits – pineapple and watermelon.
We always have a good time when family comes over, and adding our favorite pasta made it even Saucesome! The kids were excited and in the silliest moods!
Next, GrandBea and Aunt Crystal showed up with the garlic bread. Then, it was time to eat, and we all had a deliciously Saucesome meal! The Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Bake was a huge hit with everyone, especially the kids. It was so popular, the next day I had to make a second batch because there weren’t any leftovers!
After lunch, it was time for cake, ice cream, and present opening. Miss Molly could not wait for the birthday song to end before she blew the candles out which cracked everyone up. Then, she loved all her gifts, especially her new bear.
After all that, we had fun visiting with everyone. Aunt Crystal even put together Molly’s new tent for her dolls.

I have been using Ragu sauce for many years. It is really good.
Ragu is the sauce I buy most often–I have some in the frig right now! As a matter of fact I am cooking some bow ties–will add some sauce–a bit of the chicken I bought premade and voila dinner! I prefer red sauce!!
Pasta is such a great option when you’re serving lots of people. It’s easy to make and even easier to eat. Hope she had a great time turning 5.
What a fun party! It looks like everyone had a great time! Your dish looks delicious, Stephanie!
That looks so good and easy to make. Love that you added broccoli.
This looks likes a dish that would be a big hit.
Alfredo is my favorite way to eat pasta. It looks like y’all had a great time!
This sounds amazing! I need to try it!
I love this dish. I hardly get the chance to make anything with broccoli because the hubby doesn’t like it. I will have to save this for when he goes out of town for work!
I love Ragu because it’s so versatile and goes so well with tons of different Italian recipes!
