Don’t you just love frozen coffee drinks — especially during the summer time? It’s such a yummy treat and a great way to cool off in this heat. But, they sure can get expensive at a coffee house. My kids are always begging to go get expensive iced coffee.
This summer I decided it was time to fire up the blender and make them a frozen coffee treat they soon wouldn’t forget! Plus, who needs the hassle of driving all the way to the coffee house when you can make it yourself?
Over the weekend, it was family movie night. We brought Pompeii home from the Redbox. While I was heating up the popcorn, I decided it was time to try out my world famous Sweet Toffee Cream Frozen Coffee recipe.
At the grocery store I found International Delight had this delicious Iced Coffee flavor – Cold Stone’s Sweet Cream and had to buy it. Yum! Then, I noticed all the coffee cream flavors. How can you pass up Heath flavor? I love the toffee flavor of a Heath bar and knew this would make my frozen coffee drink out of this world!
Let me tell you…my family drank every drop! They loved it! I loved it! This is one delicious drink! I love the combination of the Sweet Cream coffee with the Heath creamer and the whipped cream and caramel. I’m drooling right now just thinking about it.
In fact Nate, who is not a big sweets person or a coffee drinker, requested I make him one for breakfast the very next day. That was definitely my seal of approval.
Here is an easy step by step reference to making the Sweet Toffee Cream Frozen Coffee drink. The hard part is waiting for the coffee to freeze. 😉 I made two batches for all 5 of us, so I cheated a little and some of our ice cubes weren’t entirely solid yet. But, the drinks still came out wonderful!
