I received this book for review purposes, all opinions expressed are my own and I was not paid or influenced in any way.
I’m a total book nerd, and it’s my goal in life to get all three of my children to love books as much as I do. One of our favorite things to do is snuggle up together while I read a book.
Last night, after we got all ready for bed, my preschooler and I read Harry and the Hot Lava. It’s a brand new book both written and illustrated by Chris Robertson, and it’s available today! Â Get your copy here!
It’s the story of a very imaginative little boy, Harry, and his game of “don’t touch the hot lava” that takes over the whole house! Â Pretty soon, there’s no where to go!
I love Chris’s books. Â The illustrations fit perfectly with the story. Â They are always so colorful, big, and bright. Â They really just pull you in.
“Quick! Jump out of the way! Run for your life! Save yourself!”
It’s so easy to jump in and picture you and your child tiptoeing around the hot lava along with Harry.  My little one’s favorite part was when the mommy in the story saves the day.
If you have a child that loves imaginative play, this is a wonderful story to give them even more ideas for pretend play. Â I’ve already found Molly teetering on her step stool warning me of the hot lava covering the living room.
Don’t forget to head over to Amazon and get a copy of Harry and the Hot Lava to read with your kids. Find it here.
