This is a sponsored post written in partnership with BIC. As always, all opinions are of my own.
As a kid I loved back to school shopping, especially for school supplies. It was so much fun to pick out cute notebooks and folders. And, I always loved getting fun colored pens.
I was so happy when I got to the upper years of high school and college when the teachers and professors didn’t care what color pen I wrote in. Writing in funky colors like purple or turquoise and even pink made taking notes and studying just a bit more fun and motivated me.
Now there are the ultimate colored pens. You’ll have smooth writing and no more smears with BIC® Gel-ocity® Quick Dry gel pens. They are the perfect choice for taking notes and creating your planner for the new school year. They dry up to 3x faster*, so there’s less smearing with all that creativity flowing during the school year.
Plus, BIC® Gel-ocity® Quick Dry gel pens make list-making and calendar-marking brighter and funner for moms like me this back to school season, too! With fast-drying ink, what you’ve created, stays created.
*vs. BIC® Gel-ocity® Original, based on average dry times of blue, black and red. Individual dry times may vary by color.
My oldest two children are both teenagers. My son is entering 8th grade and my daughter is off to her freshmen year of college, and they both love colored pens as much as I do. My daughter found a journal during our school shopping that was plain without any lines. She designed her own planner to keep up with her busy schedule with premed class assignments, studying, and marching band/color guard practices.
You can totally do this, too. She just created a Pinterest board full of DIY planner page ideas and cobbled many page ideas together into her new planner.
The new BIC® Gel-ocity® Quick Dry gel pens provide a smooth writing experience that inspires creativity in a variety of bright and vivid colors. Check them out at BIC and look for them in stores!

I love these pens! My only problem is … they disappear really quickly! I have to always keep other pens around, too, so when someone asks to borrow a pen I don’t have to give them my Bic Gel-Ocity! LOL
I love these beautiful colored pens! I may buy these for myself even though I’m not in school 😉 The fact that they won’t smudge when I use them is a great perk.
Gosh I just love colored pens. Even if the ink is black, they are still fun to have bright covers. I always use BIC for the price and efficiency. I need to get me the gel kind ASAP.
I love gel pens. They write so wonderfully. These sound like great ones!
I loved colour pens when I was younger! I use to use different colours for each subject! It is so cool! The pens have really stepped up!!
My daughter and I are addicted to gel pens. Lol. I love that these pens don’t smudge.
I love bic pens. I have a ton of them. I have not seen these ones yet though. I’ll have to check them out.
We have always had a large stash of pens around the house. These look new and great! I will have to go and check them out.
I love colored pens. However, when I was in school teachers weren’t always fond of them. I need to get my husband some new pens, I will have to see if they have them in black.
I don’t have any kids going back to school (I’m a grandmother), but I know when I did, they enjoyed these kinds of pens. My oldest granddaughter is starting full-time kindergarten this year, though, and I know she likes colorful pens like these.
Oh my gosh, I’m totally obsessed with gel pens. We used to get them in bulk and use them for those fuzzy posters. I’m going to have to check these out because I love Bic.
