Are you in the Dallas / Ft Worth area? Looking for a fun, laid back water park? Water Works in Denton, is our closet water park, and it’s a perfect place to relax and bring the kids. My family loves it! It’s a great place for the whole family.
There’s plenty of covered tables with chairs as well as lounge chairs. And guess what?!? You can bring your own food and coolers! We love taking a picnic up to the water park for an afternoon. They also offer good food at great prices at the concession area.
There’s a huge splash area for the kids to play. It’s easy to sit in the shallow water and let your kids play through the play structure or go through all the showers. My youngest just loves it.
There’s several slides to try both with tubes and without. There’s also an indoor leisure pool with a slide, and a lap pool with a diving board.
There’s also a gentle lazy river that runs throughout the park. We spend most of our time in it. My kids love to swim around it. There’s even a bubbly spot in the lazy river that they can’t get enough.
Water Works Park has everything you need to make this an awesome summer! They also offer exciting Aquatic Explorer Camps, kayaking camps, and swim lessons for kids on summer vacation. Enjoy four giant outdoor water slides, two toddler water slides, one giant indoor water slide, a beautiful lazy river, a children’s play pool, sand volleyball court, new concessions, and more.
