Perfectly Crisp Grilled Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 tbs Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
- 2 slices crusty Italian bread
- 2 ounces sliced cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Spread one slice of bread with Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise. Place bread Mayonnaise-side-down into hot skillet; add cheese.
- Spread other slice of bread with Mayonnaise and place Mayonnaise-side-up on top of cheese.
- Cook until lightly browned on one side. Flip over and cook until cheese is melted.

I love grilled cheese. I have never tried making it like this before though. It sounds good.
Mmm, that really is the perfect grilled cheese. I will try it this way tonight. I have some tomato soup that needs something to dip it.
Grilled cheese is one of my favorite comfort foods, but I’ve never tried it with mayo. It sounds like a wonderful recipe. I can’t wait to try this!

A grilled cheese is like a comfort food to me. Its one of those things you eat when the weather is cold and you want to pair it up with a bowl of tomato soup It also a good stable for when money is a little low and you want something filling to eat.
I have never tried grill cheese with mayo but I now have the taste to try.

I had never heard of this until after I was married and my husband made me a sandwich like this. It does crisp up the bread pretty good, but I am still a butter girl.

I love Hellman’s mayonnaise and always have to have one at home. Though I am not a fun of cheese I would give this a try
