Have you introduced your kids to podcasts? There’s a new one – Melon’s House Party, you and the kids are going to love!

My husband introduced me to podcasts when we got our first smartphones many years ago. I was hooked and immediately started finding family friendly podcasts for my kids and our whole family to enjoy podcasts together.

Family Friendly Podcasts on the go and in the car!
Podcasts are perfect for listening on the go. We live in a rural area, so everywhere we go is a fairly long drive. Most of the time, we listen to a podcast on the way. It’s a wonderful alternative to screen time.
Some of our favorites are fictional series. One of our new favorite podcasts is Melon’s House Party. Have you heard it yet?
Come to Melon’s House Party!
“Did you know that the objects in your house sing and speak all day long? They just do so in a key only dogs can hear.”
Melon is a tiny dog whose best friend is Couch. They have all kinds of musical adventures together. The couch, the wall calendar, the bookshelf, the record player, and even the fridge all talk, sing songs, and have house meetings, too!
Each episode is full of fun original songs that make your kids just want to sing and dance along. If you have music lovers, they are going to love it!
It’s a fun, family-friendly podcast geared toward ages 5 to 12 years old. My 11 year old and my almost 5 year old both love it, especially my 5 year old. She asks to listen every day. She’s the big music lover, and she just loves all the songs in each episode.
We’ve been listening in the car, during lunchtime, and sometimes we listen to Melon’s House Party together right before bedtime. It’s a lot of fun!

Where can you find Melon’s House Party podcast?
It’s from Wondery. You can find it on the Wondery app, or you can find it where you find all your favorite podcasts. We listen on Spotify, or you can find it on other places like Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, Overcast, and so many more.
There are new episodes every Wednesday. And, at only 30 minutes long, an episode is just perfect during a car ride.
