The past couple months we got to test out three totally fun toys. We first tired out the All Pro Passer Robotic Quarterback. Then, we got to try out two SpyBots – Roboear and Super Bright Tracking Light!

All Pro Passer Robotic Quarterback
We are totally not a sports family at all. We don’t watch sports. The only sports my kids do are swim team and tennis team. Football has never been our thing, so I was not sure how the All Pro Passer Robotic Quarterback was going to go over.
But, wow! My kids LOVED this one! You don’t even need to know how to play football to have fun with it.
We took it out the big field by the playground in our neighborhood, and every kid that was there came running. Every single kid wanted to take turns catching the ball, from little kids to teenagers. They all could not get enough of this toy.
It was a lot of fun and so hilarious to watch. My teenager, who has never played football, loved setting it up and attempting to catch the ball. Even my 4 yr old loved running to try to catch the ball. She could not get enough of it.
Basically, you turn on the machine. Then, use the pump to pump up the football. Next, you set the direction of where the robot will throw the football. Then, someone is out in the field ready to catch it. It’s a lot of fun!

SPYBOTS
We also got to try out two different SpyBots! These are Cybernetic Security Robots.
SpyBots RoboEar
This is the RoboEar robot from SpyBots. It takes 3 AAA batteries. It does not move on it’s own, but it does have wheels on the bottom, so you can push it.
It has a backpack that hold a listening earbud, and the backpack is removable. This way you can place the robot somewhere to listen to someone’s secret conversation, and keep the little backpack for yourself with the listening earbud to hear everything.
You can place the robot up to 100 feet away from you to listen in on conversations.
When we tried it, there was a lot of background noise, but it was easy to listen, such as hiding the robot in your sister’s room and then hiding out in your own room to listen to her.

SpyBots Super Bright Tracking Light
This SpyBot Super Bright Tracking Light robot was our favorite! It’s perfect for a kid to put in front of their bedroom door to prevent notify them when sneaky siblings are trying to get in their room.
This one also takes 3 AAA batteries. When you turn it on, there should be no movement in front of it. It will make a horribly loud siren noise for 10 seconds. Then, it’s ready to track!
If it detects any movement in front of it, the super bright tracking light immediately comes on and the robot will start sweeping its head back and forth to find the location of movement. Once it finds it, it will start moving towards it.
One issue we did find was that it’s not as good on carpet as it is on hard floors. Other than that, my older kids love this one!. They wall wanted to have one to put in front of their bedroom doors.
