Lactose Intolerance & Lactose Free Rainbow Pudding Pops

  • Yield: about 16 popsicles 1x


  • 2 packages of vanilla instant pudding – larger size
  • 6 cups of milk
  • food coloring drops
  • 5 oz wax lined cups
  • popsicle sticks


  1. In a large bowl, combine pudding and milk. Mix well.
  2. Separate out the pudding into 6 bowls, about 1 cup each.
  3. Place 16 cups on a cookie sheet.
  4. Dye each bowl a different color – red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple
  5. Red – 20 drops
  6. Orange: 20 yellow drops + 8 red drops
  7. Yellow: 20 drops
  8. Green: 20 drops
  9. Blue: 20 drops
  10. Purple: 12 red drops + 8 blue drops
  11. Add about 1 tablespoon per color in layers. I used the color spectrum of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple.
  12. Place a popsicle stick in the middle of each cup.
  13. If the popsicle sticks will not stay upright, cover, the cups with foil and then insert the sticks.
  14. Freeze for several hours.
  15. Serve and enjoy!
