Let’s get down and dirty with these Graveyard Dirt Cupcakes in a Cup perfect for a Summerween treat. They’re so easy, they kids can help make them!

What do you need to make Graveyard Dirt Cupcakes?
- Chocolate Cake Mix + ingredients required
- Vanilla Frosting
- Food coloring – Halloween colors (purple, green, orange, etc.)
- Keebler Fudge Grahams cookies (or Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies)
- White chocolate chips
- Gummy worms
- 2 sleeves OREO cookies
- Halloween sprinkles with candy eyeballs
- Clear 10 oz wide cups

How do you make Dirt Cupcakes in Cup?
Make the cake batter and follow the directions for baking the cupcakes.

Lay the Keebler Fudge Graham cookies on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Pop it in the freezer.
While the cupcakes are bakiing and cookies are freezing, melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring after each time, until they are completely smooth.
Transfer the white chocolate chips into a ziplock bag and snip the tiniest edge off the corner.
Pull the fudge grahams out ofthe freezer, and write RIP on each one.
Pop the cookies back in the freezer to harden the white chocoolate and now you have gravestones.
When the cupcakes are completely cool, slice each cupcake into thirds width wise.
Make your own buttercream or use 2 cans of premade frosting. You’ll need about 3-4 cups of frosting for 12 cupcakes.
Divide the frositng into two equal parts and dye one part green and one part purple (Or dye one part orange.)
Transfer each color into a pastry bag with a star tip.
Set the bottom layer of cupcake into the cup.
Swirl one color of frosting around the top of it.
Set the second layer of cupcake into the cup.
Swirl the other layer of frosting onto the top of it.
Set the last layer of cupcake on top and add the first frosting swirled on top.
Take 2 sleeves of OREO cookies and pulverize them to crumbs in a food processor, blender, or in a ziplock bag and a rolling pin.
Sprinkle the OREO cookies over the top frosting, until it’s completely hidden.
Press the end of one gummy worn into the OREO crumbs.
Add some sprinkles with an eyeball or two.
Press one gravestone cookie into the cup.
Now you’re done.

Can you make these ahead of time?
Absolutely! I make the cupcakes and the RIP gravestones a couple days in advance and store them in ziplock bags. Then the day before the party, make up the cupcake cups and keep them stored in a sealed container until the day of the party.
