My kids are obsessed with Chick Fil A nuggets. But we can’t always go there, so I have figured out my own version for copycat Chick Fil A Chicken Nuggets. This recipe combined with a copycat Raising Cane’s sauce is chef’s kiss. My 14 year old will eat that and nothing else some days.

Ingredients
- chicken tenderloins
- buttermilk
- pickle juice
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- all-purpose flour
- powdered sugar
- seasoning salt
- salt
- black or white pepper
Instructions
Cut the chicken tenderloins into chunks, about 2-3 pieces each.
Add the tablespoon of flour, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and black pepper to the chicken.
Mix well.
Pour the buttermilk and pickle juice on top.
Mix until chicken is fully incorporated.
Let the chicken marinate in the brine for at least 45 min to an hour. You can even do this overnight in the fridge.
When you’re ready to cook, heat the oil over medium high heat.
Whisk all of the dredge ingredients together.
Drop in a few pieces of the chicken at a time in the flour, coating them well.
When the oil is hot, drop a few pieces at a time into the oil.
Cook until golden brown.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
