Can you believe football season is almost over? It’s been a whirlwind of a season, and best of all the Big Game is coming up soon! I love watching all the fun commercials. I love any excuse for a get together, and watching the game is a great time to do just that. Today I’ve got some simple Football Party Ideas for you.
My favorite kind of party is when things are easy to make, which is why I love to serve Tyson® Boneless Wyngz*. They’ve had the Buffalo flavor for awhile now, but I was so excited to see they now carry the Honey BBQ flavor at Sam’s Club! It’s my family’s favorite.
*contains no wing meat
They are so simple to make because all you need to do is pop them in the oven! This way I don’t have to spend all my time in the kitchen. Not only are Tyson® Boneless Wyngz* easy to make, but they are an excellent source of protein. They have all white meat chicken and 0 grams of trans fat per serving.
All the football party printables I see on Pinterest are so cute. But, I want something simple that doesn’t use up all the ink in my printer! This time I went with black poster board and chalk and a yard-line football tablecloth. And, I just love how it came out!
When I was gathering a few other supplies for the party, I picked up the yard line tablecloth. I thought it would be perfect for the backdrop behind the table. I went with a brown tablecloth for the table for the football theme.
I bought two large pieces of black poster board at the store. I cut one of them in half. On both I used the side of the chalk and gently covered the entire poster board. Then, I rubbed off the excess to give it a used chalkboard look.
On the half-size poster board I drew a football play in chalk. Then, I just hung it with duct tape on the yard-line tablecloth.
For the large piece I put it in the center of my table. Then, after I set up the table with everything I drew more “plays” to indicate foods and drink like the veggies and wings with arrows and Xs and 0s. It’s a simple way to dress up the table in a football theme.
To create my Most Valuable Platter I layered pieces of green leaf lettuce all around the platter before adding the Tyson® Boneless Wyngz*. I finished it off with celery and homemade pimento cheese dip. You can find the recipe HERE for the pimento cheese.
The rest of the spread was quick and easy to put together with a bowl of chips and a veggie tray. I completed the veggie tray with some Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip.
