I love Bubblegum flavored anything. I know that’s probably weird for a grown up, but it’s a flavor I’ve loved since I was a kid. If we go to an ice cream parlor and they have bubblegum ice cream, you can bet your pants I’m getting it!
Monday I shared with you how to make a Kool-Aid Cream Slush. Well today’s a new version with one of my favorite ingredients — Duncan Hines Flavor Creations. You can make all kinds of flavored cream slushes with these little packets – cotton candy, orange creme, caramel, and so much more!
One thing I like about making this version is that it is not a sweet sugary drink like a snow cone or slushie. It’s creamy and cold, but you can put as much or as little or no sugar as you’d like in it. I found adding about a tablespoon of sugar worked just fine, and that was for more than just 1 serving. It was about 4 cups of it. If you want it sweeter, add a couple more tablespoons of sugar or splenda to sweeten it up.
This recipe is super easy and done in a couple of minutes. I’ve been known to whip these up for a late night snack or sometimes even for breakfast with a package of Nestle’s Breakfast Essentials.
Here’s a how I made it:
I like to fancy it up a bit with a rim of sprinkles. My 4 year old thought that was the most awesome thing she had ever seen. If you’ve never done it before, just dip the glass in water and then dip it in the sprinkles (or colored sugar crystals). Preschoolers will be amazed!
Yields about 4 cups
5 minTotal Time
- 2 cups of ice cubes
- 1/2 cup whipping cream

- Add ice cubes, cream, milk, sugar and flavor creation powder to blender.
- Blend until ice is completely chopped.
- To dress it up, you can add sugar or sprinkles to the rim of the glass.
- Top with whipped cream and enjoy!
