Following the Plan
My husband and I have been following the plan for almost a month now. I like that I have more energy now. I do not want to go back to feeling sluggish all the time. It’s also surprising how well I’m sleeping. I used to sleep 3-4 hours at a time, and now I’m sleeping about 7-8 hours a stretch and don’t need a nap during the day.
I’ve noticed my pants are definitely looser. I’ve actually pulled out some shorts from the bottom of a drawer that were tight and now are fitting loose.
My husband used to complain that I didn’t drink enough water. This plan has definitely helped me improve that. I had no idea water helps so many vital functions for your body.

Did you know water helps digest your food, expel wastes, regulate your temperature, protect your tissues, cushion your joints, and protect your spinal column, among other things? It is through water that hormones flow to the proper organs, that nutrients reach all cells, and that toxins are diluted and removed from the body.
Staying the Course
This plan makes the foods feel accessible, and it’s things I like to eat. My kids have loved some of the recipes we’ve tried from the book.

In the past I’ve had really big drops in my blood sugar while I’ve been sleeping. We actually discovered this when I was pregnant with my last baby. By following the Always Eat After 7 PM plan and having carbs in the evening, it has noticeably helped regulate my blood sugar in addition to just being a great weight loss strategy.
