Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? We don’t go all out, but we love to sprinkle some magic into life. So, we make some fun themed snacks for the day, read about leprechauns and make a trap to catch one, and sometimes we even have a leprechaun scavenger hunt.
What do you need to make Shamrock Pretzel Pops?
How do you make Shamrock Pretzel Pops?
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Place the candy melts in a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring between each heating session, until fully melted. This usually takes me about 2 minutes until they are smooth and completely melted.
To get started, add a small circle of candy melt about 2 inches from one corner of the parchment paper.
Place a lollipop stick in the center, then arrange 3 pretzels to form a shamrock shape. Repeat spaced out on the parchment paper until you have filled both baking sheets.
Freeze for 5 minutes, to set the candy.
Dip the pops into the candy melts making sure to coat the entire pretzels. Lay them on the parchment paper.
Then quickly top each one with sprinkles.
I would recommend dipping just 1 to 2 pops at a time and immediately adding sprinkles as the candy melt will harden quickly since they were just in the freezer.
