I just love yogurt. It’s my perfect snack, and there’s so many flavors to choose. Even as a kid I loved yogurt. My dad would freeze it for me the night before and put it in my lunch box so it would be cold and perfectly defrosted at lunch time at school.
My favorite is Yoplait® original, and now it has 25% less sugar. I love it because the fruit is always perfectly mixed up in the yogurt for a delectable taste. Plus, I love that they have so many varieties from Yoplait® Original to Light, Greek, and even Gogurt®. I head to Walmart to stock up because they have so many varieties of Yoplait®.
It’s usually the first thing I grab when I’m needing a snack any time of the day, and my kids are the same way. I always keep our fridge stocked with variety of yogurt from cotton candy flavored Gogurt® to my new favorite Yoplait® Greek 100 calories.
I’m always looking for ways to use yogurt in recipes from adding it to cake mixes to making Cotton Candy smoothies to a little snack I can’t wait to share today – Yogurt Puff Pastries. I just love the flaky buttery texture of puff pastries, and it’s so incredibly easy to whip up these little treats. They’re perfect for an after school snack or an after dinner treat. I can’t wait to serve these with our next board game night.
I had some leftover roasted peaches from the Gluten Free Peach Caramel Bites I made the other day, and I thought they would taste great with yogurt on top of puff pastry. Then, I found some Yoplait® Greek 100 calories Blueberry Lemon yogurt in the fridge, and I decided I had to make some more with blueberries, too.
You can find puff pastry in the frozen section near the frozen desserts. I like to buy the puff pastry cups for this particular recipe. Follow the directions to bake them. Once, they’ve cooled, take your thumb or finger and push the centers down, and then you have the perfect place for filling!
Next, fill the pastry cup holes with your favorite yogurt and top with fruit. I used fresh blueberries with blueberry lemon greek yogurt. I also used roasted peaches with peach Greek yogurt. Then, I used Yoplait® Greek 100 Whips! in vanilla cupcake flavor and topped those with both blueberries and roasted peaches.
A simple recipe with puff pastry, yogurt, and fruit!

- 1 package of puff pastry cups
- 2-3 favorite yogurt flavors
- 2-3 favorite fruits, cut into small pieces
- Bake the puff pastry cups according to directions.
- Allow them to cool completely. Then, poke the center holes down.
- Fill the centers with yogurt flavors.
- Then, top with your favorite fruits.
I just love this snack. It’s so delicious! I think next time I’m going to try strawberry cheesecake yogurt topped with warm roasted strawberries.
