I was provided an advanced reader copy from NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
I have been a fan of Caroline Kepnes and her You book series since the very beginning. So, I was absolutely thrilled when I got an email from NetGalley to read You Love Me before it was officially out. I have been anticipating this book for the longest time.
I read You and Hidden Bodies years before the show came out, and I fell in love with them and Joe. And, now I absolutely love the show. I even got my husband hooked on it.

You Love Me by Caroline Kepnes
If you’re seen the show and the preview for season 3, you will have an inkling for book #3, You Love Me. At least it looks like the same premise to me.
After all that happens with Joe and Love at the end of book 2, in this book, he heads up to the Pacific Northwest to a sleepy little town on an island and sets his sights on the local librarian, except this time Joe wants to change. He wants to win her love the old fashioned way.
It really looks like Joe might have changed for the better. He seems older and wiser and really is trying so hard to be the nice guy, not be so obsessive, and for awhile it looks like it might just work. Except we know how things go for Joe. Trouble always finds him.
I don’t know how she does it, but Caroline Kepnes has a way to make me feel such empathy for poor Joe. Every single time I am totally rooting for him, even when he’s kidnapping or burying bodies. It just never feels like it’s his fault.
I would love to tell you everything, but I don’t want to spoil it. There’s just so much that happens. This book will leave you shocked. The final twist is just jaw dropping. I sure didn’t see that coming, which is my favorite kind of twist in a book. If you loved the first two books, this one is just as good with twists you won’t see coming.
It’s finally available today! Head over to Amazon or wherever you buy books to get your copy of You Love Me by Caroline Kepnes today! Or, read an excerpt here!
More Book Reviews Coming!
I used to review a lot of books, and then…I had my last baby. She is my little handful, so it’s been difficult to find time to read. But…she’s now 3 years old, and I’m back reading again. I’ve already read like 10 books, ands it’s just March! Stay tuned, I’m bringing back the book reviews again.
