I love to read lots of genres, but I’m addicted to contemporary romance novels right now. Today I’m sharing with you some of my favorite romance novels. This post contains affiliate links.
I have been on a huge reading kick the past few months.
Before I became a mom, I probably read a book a day., but life gets busy with kids. Prior to that, I was always a voracious reader. It’s one of my favorite things to do.
It might sound crazy, but I prefer reading over watching tv. The movies I create in my head are usually so much better.
I’m going to divide these up into my favorite steamy romance novels and my favorite clean romance novels. That way if you don’t want to read the super sexy ones, you can avoid those books.
Table of Contents
Kindle Unlimited
We live in a tiny town that doesn’t have much of a library, so I use the next town over and pay for the library, which still has very limited eBooks, which is how I love to read books. I can read on my iPad or my phone, and I’m able to do it anywhere without carrying a book around.
So with those limited options, I recently signed up for Kindle Unlimited. I just LOVE it, and it has several of the books listed below.

My Favorite Clean Romance Novels
So, I confess, I love those steamy, sexy romance novels. But, I still love the clean ones, too. Here’s a few of my favorites:
If The Shoe Fits – Julie Murphy
This Time Next Year – Sophie Cousens
Eight Perfect Hours – Lia Louis
The Paris Connection – Lorraine Brown
Friendshipped – Savannah Scott
My Favorite Steamy Romance Novels
If you’re into the sexy, steamy romance novels, you’ll definitely enjoy a few of these. They’re all full of different tropes – fake fiancés, best friends turned lovers, brother’s best friend, etc. But, I’ve enjoyed all of them.
As you can see, there are lot more of these than the clean ones, lol! Here’s a few I’ve enjoyed:
It Happened One Summer – Tessa Bailey – This is one that got me hooked recently. I have really enjoyed every Tessa Bailey Book I’ve read. They are always entertaining and steamy!
99 Percent Mine – Sally Thorne
Beach Read – Emily Henry – This was the first Emily Henry book I read, and I loved it so much I sought out her other books. I’m very excited to read her upcoming new one.
People We Meet on Vacation – Emily Henry
The Bromance Book Club – Lyssa Kay Adams (The Bromance Book Club #1) – I love this series! I’m currently waiting on a hold for book #3 at the library. You can totally read these out of order, and they are still good!
Undercover Bromance (The Bromance Book Club #2)
Isn’t it Bromantic – Lyssa Kay Adams (The Bromance Book Club #4)
Talk Bookish to Me – Kate Bromley – This was one of my favorite romances I’ve read lately probably because I love that the main character herself is a romance writer.
Much Ado About You – Samantha Young – This has been my most favorite recent romance. I love how she’s an American and goes to work in a bookstore in a small English village and meets the town hottie. Plus, he’s has an adorable dog.
The Kiss Quotient – Helen Hoang (The Kiss Quotient Series #1) – This one and the next book by Helen Hoang were really interesting, and I can’t wait to read book #3 in the series. They all involve love interests who have autism, which was really different.
The Bride Test – Helen Hoang (The Kiss Quotient Series #2)
A Not So Meet Cute – Meghan Quinn
Fix Her Up – Tessa Bailey (Hot & Hammered #1)
Dirty Little Midlife Crisis – Lilian Monroe – This was an interesting one because the love interests were 40s and 50s and closer to my age than the typical 20 something don’t know what to do with their lives.
Love Her or Lose Her – Tessa Bailey (Hot & Hammered #2)
Tools of Engagement – Tessa Bailey (Hot & Hammered #3)
