Are you looking for a fun activity for a Halloween party? Then, check this out! Go-Paks! turned into monsters! The kids can load up their favorite Snack Pack® pudding, candy, and top it all off with Reddi -wip!
The other day I was grocery shopping and got an idea in my head for this totally fun craft and treat for Halloween. I grabbed all the supplies I needed at Walmart and headed home.
The Go-Paks! are only $1, so they’re just perfect to buy for a whole Halloween party! Plus, the cups are plastic, don’t leak, and a little more than half full, so they are perfect for topping off with extra ingredients!
These monsters are all super easy to make with duct tape! I grabbed googly eyes along with Halloween foam stickers and other stickers (like vampire teeth, spooky eyes, and spiders). I grabbed glue dots as I thought they would be easier to use with the kids than regular glue or hot glue.
Here’s how I made the monsters:
I used green duct tape. Then, I used a sticky foam piece and cut into Frank’s hair. Next, I used sparkly pompoms for his neck bolts. Lastly, I glued yellow googly eyes and added a mouth with permanent marker.
This is a vampire bat. I used sparkly foam and cut it into bat wings. Then, I added a Halloween vampire teeth sticker, and lastly, I glued google eyes. I made a few more of these and changed them to foam eyes that were a little menacing.
This one was my favorite! For the mummy, I covered the cup in white duct tape. Then, I cut up strips of cheesecloth, and used glue dots to wrap and stick the cheesecloth. When I was done, I slipped in some googly eyes, and a few spiders inside the cheesecloth. For the loose ends of cheesecloth, I tucked them in the back.
For medusa, she was wrapped in green duct tape. I added mean foam eyes and a vampire teeth sticker. For her snakes of hair, I cut pipe cleaners into thirds, and attached them to a smaller piece of duct tape that I wrapped around the top of her head. Then I used my fingers to twist her snakes up.
Once you have the monsters made, you can set out all the goodies to create a yummy treat. We had:
- Reddi-wip
- Snack Pack® pudding in vanilla, chocolate, butterscotch, and chocolate/vanilla mix.
- NABISCO Go-Paks! in
- Mini NILLA Wafers
- Mini OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
- CHIPS AHOY! Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies
- NUTTER BUTTER Bites Sandwich Cookies
- Mini OREO Golden Sandwich Cookies
- I also included sprinkles, gummy worms, candy bones, and crushed chocolate cookies.
Think of it like a walking taco, but for dessert!
For Frank, I added butterscotch pudding to OREO chocolate sandwich cookies, green sprinkles with candy spiders, and topped it off with Reddi-wip!
For Medusa, I added vanilla pudding to Nilla Wafers, then topped it off with crushed chocolate cookies, and a few “snakes” (gummy worms), and then a little bit of Reddi-wip.
I added chocolate pudding to Drac’s Nutter Butters, and then whipped cream, and added a few sprinkles to finish.
Mummy’s OREO Golden sandwich cookies had chocolate/vanilla pudding added, Reddi-wip, and then dirt and bones!
This is the perfect activity for a kid’s Halloween party. My kids had a blast decorating their Go-Pak! cups with spiders and stickers and googly eyes. I found it easiest to duct tape the cookie cups first, and then let them decorate.
Once they’ve finished, I just set out all the ingredients and let them create their own Halloween treats! This is probably one of the best ideas we’ve done for Halloween together. Your kids will love this!
