My 7 yr old daughter has always been very nurturing. Long before she had a little sister, she was the one who would always help the littlest kids at the playgrounds we visited. Now that she’s officially a big sister, she’s just the sweetest thing who loves to help her baby sister. She also has that same loving attention for her baby dolls.
Recently, we got to try out Baby Doux from Educational Insights. It’s a beautiful baby doll that’s perfect for nurturing-based imaginative play. She loves to dress her new baby and push her around in an old shopping cart she turned into a baby carriage. I just love toys that let her imagination and creativity fly, and baby dolls are just perfect for this.
Baby Doux are 12-inch soft cloth dolls that have a light vanilla scent to them. My daughter loves the scent. They are also machine washable, so they can go wherever you little one wants take them.
The deluxe European craftsmanship delivers realistic baby details and just-like-me skin tones, and they are perfect for helping kids make real-world connections and learn the importance of empathy. Baby Doux comes in four different ethnicities.
- Hispanic
- African American
- Asian
- Caucasian
Plus, imaginative play encourages social skills, language development, and so much more. They are recommended for 2-5 years of age, but my 7 yr old absolutely loves her new baby doll. This would make such a great gift for any little one who loves to nurture their stuffed animals and baby dolls.
