Easy peasy cinnamon rolls made from Pillsbury Crescent Rounds



Cinnamon Rolls

  • 1 tube of Pillsbury Crescent Rounds
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or 1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or 1/4 vanilla bean)
  • 1/4 cup of cream


Cinnamon Rolls

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a glass pie plate, pour the melted butter and mix with the brown sugar. Spread it all over the bottom of the pie plate.
  3. Open the tube of Pillsbury Crescent Rounds and unroll the dough.
  4. Do not separate it yet.
  5. Spread the softened butter all over the dough.
  6. Combine white sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle liberally all over the dough.
  7. Take each perforated Crescent Round and roll it up into a cinnamon roll.
  8. Place each cinnamon roll in the pie plate with a couple inches of space around each one.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Then, remove from oven.

Cream Cheese Frosting

  1. Combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream.
  2. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
  3. Pour over the cinnamon rolls and spread around.
  4. Serve immediately
