During the holidays, I love making breakfast that’s a little bit themed — from red and green pancakes to cinnamon roll waffles. My kids always get a kick out of it. When I saw the bottle of Frosted Sugar Cookie creamer from International Delight at Walmart, the perfect recipe popped into my head — Sugar Cookie Crepes. I also love a bit of creamer in my coffee, so I picked up the MIni I.D.’s in vanilla, too.
I fell in love with crepes when I was in French class in high school. My teacher would bring her crepe maker and a jar of hazelnut spread, and she’d make them for us right in class! Then, when I went to Paris a few years ago, the freshly made crepes you could get on the street corners were just amazing, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I make crepes a few times a year. It tends to be a special breakfast or dinner when I do. Both my husband and kids love them and are always asking when I’ll make them again.
I find the easiest way to make the batter is by using the blender. It makes the batter smooth for the most delicious crepes.
I’ve seen people make them in a skillet, but I find it much easier to use an actual crepe maker. I’ve had two over the years, and both I found in thrift stores for less than $3 each! Here’s a quick little video so you can see how easy it is. I use a regular dinner plate filled with batter for dipping.

We have a big family, so the crepes go fast. The recipe I use makes about 40-45 crepes, so if you don’t need that many, just cut the recipe in half.
A twist on my favorite crepe recipe with Sugar Cookie coffee creamer!

- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups International Delight Frosted Sugar Cookie creamer
- 4 large eggs
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Allow to sit for a few minutes while the crepe maker or skillet heats up.
- If you have a crepe maker, pour the batter into a plate so you can easily dip it.
- If you just have a skillet, this video will show you how to swirl the batter into the pan.
I loved how these crepes came out. They had a hint of sugar cookie flavor. And, they smell amazing while you’re cooking them up. They definitely bring the family into the kitchen.
