Description
An easy and delicious recipe for grapefruitade made from Texas ruby red grapefruits. And to cut the sugar, it’s made with sucralose instead of sugar.

Grapefruitade
- 5–6 ripe ruby red grapefruits
- 1 lemon
- 2 cups simple sucralose syrup (recipe below)
- 3–4 cups water
Simple Sucralose Syrup
- 1 cup sucralose
- 1 cup water
Instructions
Simple Sucralose Syrup
- Combine sucralose and 1 cup of water. Heat in the microwave for 4-5 minutes until it reaches a boil.
- Allow to cool.
Grapefruitade:
- In a strainer, juice all grapefruits and lemon to measure around 2 cups.
- Make the simple syrup and allow to cool for a few minutes.
- Transfer to a pitcher or bottle.
- Once the syrup has cooled, combine with juice.
- Add an additional 3-4 cups of water.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving
