Do you have a New Year’s Resolution to get healthy this year? Snacking is certainly one of my downfalls, and I would love to curb those cravings.
POPSUGAR has a Snack ID quiz you can take to see what kind of snacker you are. I just took it and found out that I’m a Mindless Muncher! You should totally head over and take the quiz.  It’s short, easy and fun!
According to the quiz, I lose all control with endless trips into a bag of pretzels, even when I’m not hungry.  This might be fairly accurate, though probably not with pretzels or chips, more like when it comes to my sweet tooth.
The quiz also gives you some great tips to curb your snacking such as using all your senses when you snack and really experiencing what you eat.  I’m definitely going to try this.  It says this will naturally slow you down and help you become a more mindful eater.
Another tip is to blend up a Meta Appetite Control smoothie or add two teaspoons to a cold glass of at least 8 oz water.  I just got the Pink Lemonade flavor of Meta Appetite Control, and it’s just perfect for smoothies.
So how does Meta Appetite Control work?  It’s a fiber supplement from the makers of Metamucil, and it contains psyllium fiber which thickens and forms a gel in your digestive system which slows absorption and digestion and aids in your feeling full. This might sound a bit strange, but it really can help you curb cravings between meals* and if taken prior to a meal, it can help you control appetite for up to 4 hours!* It’s clinically proven to work naturally with your body to help you feel less hungry between  meals.*  As a busy mom always on the go, this is going to totally help me avoid pulling into a fast food drive thru when I’m feeling the urge to snack.
Meta Appetite Control comes in Orange Zest, Pink Lemonade Quench, and Unflavored Smoothie Enhancer. You can mix it in your favorite smoothie or add it to at least 8 oz of cold water or juice. Â Here’s a recipe for one of my favorite smoothies using the pink lemonade flavor – Strawberry Lemonade Smoothie! Â It’s got a secret ingredient that makes it incredibly smooth and creamy – avocado!

That sounds so good! I LOVE the idea that I can enjoy a delicious smoothie and help curb my tendency to snack at the same time.
I think this is something I need to curb my appetite. The smoothie looks so yummy!
This smoothie looks delicious. I’ve never tried an appetite control product before. But I could stand to lose a few pounds.
I really want to try the appetite control, but the last time I was at the store it was out of my budget. I am going to pick some up soon. I hope it works for me.
I am a mindless eater too and this smoothie is something I am going to have to make. The Meta Appetite Control is something I have been wanting to try and it would be great in this recipe for a smoothie. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
I have been thinking of trying Meta Appetite Control. this smoothie looks delicious and it would be a great way to start the day.
This sounds delicious, as I sit here eating hint of lime chips 🙂 But seriously, it sounds great and like a great after school before ballet snack for my girls ( well, minus the Meta for them but add the Meta for me.) I’m going to pin this and give it a try.
I guilty of eating when I am stressed. Of course, my sweet tooth gets me in trouble too. I do try and find healthy alternatives to help fill the sweet tooth without breaking the calorie bank.
