Garlic & Herb Smashed Potatoes



  • 24 bite size potatoes
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic and herbs


  1. Wash potatoes.
  2. Boil potatoes until fork tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  4. Remove from water and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Using a fork or potato masher, gently mash each potato. Make sure not to mash too hard or it will break up the potato. You want it to be one whole piece.
  6. Melt butter and combine with sea salt and minced garlic. (If using salted butter, leave out the salt.)
  7. Drizzle the garlic butter over the potatoes.
  8. Then using the grinder, freshly grind the garlic and herbs over the potatoes.
  9. Bake for 15-18 minutes.
  10. Serve immediately.
