A New Movie Experience with AMC Theatres

A few days ago AMC invited me and my family to visit their newly remodeled movie theatre in Fort Worth, Texas.  AMC Hulen 10 now has all reserved seating, premium power recliners and Coca-Cola Freestyle. We got to have some family fun and check it out!

My husband was off work on July 4th, so we went to an afternoon showing of Disney Pixar’s Cars 3.  With a brand new nursing baby, we stick to afternoon screenings of kid movies that the whole family can see together.  It tends to be less crowded and definitely more convenient for us.

Everyone was able to choose a yummy snack and make their favorite drink with the Coca-Cola Freestyle.  AMC is always one of our favorite theatres because of all the choices available at the snack bar.

When it was time to head to the theatre, it was clearly marked, and I loved how the sign above told you if your movie was seating now or in a few minutes.  That is so much easier than asking the employees every few minutes if we can head into the theatre.

Can I just saw how much I love reserved seating? This is just another one of the reasons why we love AMC theatres. We no longer have to show up at least 30 minutes early to get the best seats.  I can buy our tickets online or with the AMC app and show up just a few minutes before it starts and go right to our seats.  With young children, this is so wonderful!

The best part about AMC’s new remodel is the power recliner seats! They are super comfortable, and there is TONS of leg room.  There are walls separating each row, so there are no worries about someone behind you kicking or propping their feet up on your seat.  Plus, as a nursing mom, this makes it so incredibly easy to nurse my baby at the movie.  She stays latched on and asleep the entire time, and I can enjoy the movie with my big kids.

On date nights, my husband and I often head to the movies, and we like to indulge a little with MacGuffins bar available at AMC.  They often have special themed drinks that go with one of the latest movies that are fun to try.
