More than 40 Christmas Advent Calendars for Everyone!

I know it’s not even Halloween yet, but I have found year after year that if I don’t get the Christmas Advent Calendars I want at the beginning of Fall, they are usually sold out or won’t arrive until well into December.

We love the “blind bag” advent calendars where the kids can pick a themed one like Peppa Pig or Star Wars. Then, they get little toys hiding behind each door for the whole month until Christmas. This post contains affiliate links.

Should you get multiple Christmas Advent Calendars?

I just love advent calendars for my kids to countdown to Christmas and have a little surprise each day. Usually we have to get one per kid because they each have different interests. I have one who loves Peppa Pig and another who loves Marvel superheroes and villains, and yet another who still can’t decide between a Squishy Animal Advent Calendar or a Horse Advent Calendar. There are just so many choices!

Make Your Own Christmas Advent Calendar

You can also totally make your own advent calendar. This one just uses little decorated treat bags, and all you need are the surprises like blind bags, trinkets, candy, stickers, etc.

Here is another version that uses small cloth bags tied with ribbon, and each are numbered with a gold paint pen. Depending on your child’s age you can put all kinds of small prizes. My 2 year old would be thrilled with a daily lollipop in a DIY Christmas Advent Calendar, and my 9 year old would be heaven with an advent calendar that had a daily blind bag to open.

One thing I noticed is that brands come out with an advent calendar for the current year. I saw brands like Paw Patrol and Hot Wheels has them year by year. But you know what? You can also get a previous year’s advent calendar, and your kids will never know the difference. They both count down 24 days until Christmas.
