This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and BJ’s Restaurants, but all my opinions are my own. #DineInOrderAhead #pmedia http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV
BJ’s Restaurant is one of our favorite places for dinner. We love the pizza, the pizookies, and the Berry Burst Cider. It’s a great place to take the family, but it’s also great for a date night without the kids, too.
Their new app is all about Dining Out Made Easy! Before you go or while you’re driving to the restaurant, the app lets you place your order so that when you arrive, they immediately begin making your meal. How awesome is that?
The last time we were there, I saw the advertisement on the table for the new BJ’s Restaurant App for Dine in Order Ahead and Mobile Pay. I’m all about apps making my life easier. When we decided to have a family night out a few days ago, we headed there for dinner, so Nate and I could try out the new app.
While we were about 25 minutes away, as Nate was driving, I went around the car and took everyone’s order for dinner. I followed the app’s instructions, placed the order, set our Preferred Waitlist time. All this while we were on the way!
When I began placing our order, I was worried it wouldn’t have specifics enough because there are so many options when ordering there. But, it was great! And, so easy! Ordering kids meals each with entree, side, and drink was very straight forward. In fact, I noticed the app had a few extra choices that I’d never noticed on the menu.
For my husband and I, we each ordered a pizza, and toppings were easy to order. One thing we could not order on the app was a pitcher of our favorite Berry Burst Cider. It was only sold by the glass, but we simply just waited to order it at the table.
We arrived a few minutes before our Preferred Waitlist time, and the restaurant was super packed on a Saturday night. We checked in, let them know we ordered “Dine In Order Ahead,” and our wait was just a few minutes before we were seated.
The hostess brought the ticket with our order to the table. Quickly the waiter arrived, took our order for the pitcher of cider, took the receipt with our order, and let us know it would arrive soon.
And he wasn’t kidding! Within a couple of minutes, our salads arrived. Woohoo! The meal was perfectly timed. Just as my husband and I finished the salads, everyone’s meals arrived. and they were just as we had ordered them.
I was loving this – no wait AND no starving kids. What more could you ask for?
We did add pizookies to our meal after we arrived, but they also came quickly. While the kids finished up the pizookies, our waiter dropped of the bill. We were done and paid within a matter of seconds using the app’s Mobile Pay. No waiting for the waiter to return and get the bill. I love this efficiency!
It was wonderful to get in and out of BJ’s Restaurant within the hour when it was so busy. That is one of the biggest obstacles to taking a preschooler out to dinner on a busy night, and with the new app, this problem has been solved!
Our next visit to BJ’s Restaurant will definitely involve the Dine In Order Ahead app! Try it out on your next visit! You will be amazed! Below are the links to download it directly for your Android phone or iPhone:
