I’m betting that your kids are as excited about MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron as mine are. My tween, Mr. E, asks me on a daily basis when it’s coming out in theaters. He has all the The Avengers for his Disney Infinity game, and my youngest loves to play with them in her dollhouse.
We’ve been having The Avengers movie nights lately because mom has not been keeping up with the story lines to be ready for MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. We bought the Avengers Doritos, Cheez Its, fruit snacks, and even the Dr. Pepper TEN for our move nights.
I whipped up a little The Avengers Spicy snack mix with the Doritos and Cheez Its and some popcorn and peanuts thrown in. Then, we made some snack boxes and added The Avengersfruit snacks for movie watching time.
Recently, when we were at Walmart picking up all our The Avengers goodies, we saw that there was a new app for MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
You can download the app and find signs in Walmart that make it come to life. You can find the app Super Heroes Assemble in the iTunes and Google Play store right now. Once you download it, you’ll need to unlock the characters.
You are able to unlock a lot of characters online before going to Walmart. Here’s what to do:
- Download the app on your phone and open it.
- Then, on your computer go to Walmart.com/Avengers.
- Open the app and choose “Discover.”.
- On the computer click on “Unlock more epic content.”
- Scroll through the pictures on the computer, matching up the images to the images in the app.
- Then, scan each picture to get content for each character in the movie.
Besides unlocking content, you can also learn the history about each character.
You can also watch trailers and learn more about MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Now that you’ve unlocked the content, you can head to Walmart and pick up The Avengers snacks and get to the photo opps! We found most of the signs in the toy department. There were a few others in the movie department as well.
We were able to find a couple of the signs for Photo Opps. This one is my daughter posing with the Hulkbuster Armor. It is actually animated and makes noises while it moves.
Another fun section of the app is Suit Up. We laughed ourselves silly with this one. You take a picture of yourself or someone else and then once you’ve unlocked characters, there are parts of their costumes you can put on yourself or someone else.
Miss Em with Hulk’s fists.
Mr E with Hawkeye’s bow.
Em wearing Thor’s armor and his hammer.
I hope you have as much fun with this app as we are. I think my favorite part is the Suit Up section.
Which The Avengers character is your favorite, and why?
