With summer upon us, my weekends have actually gotten busier. Have yours? But, I wanted to share with you some lovely recipes from my blogging friends and what I’ve been cooking up for the past couple weeks.
Since it’s been a couple weeks since The Weekend Feast, there’s quite a few. This first round is full of delicious meals.
From The Foodie Affair, is a delicious recipe for lettuce wraps. I’ve always wanted to know how to make them, and Sandra makes it look so easy!
Recently, I made a batch of my husband’s famous FIVE Ingredient Crockpot Ribs. You are gonna love them! They are so easy to make and perfect for a barbecue!
Next is something I can’t wait to make — Roadside Chicken from Renee’s Kitchen Adventure. The chicken is cooked completely on the grill. No heating up the kitchen! Isn’t that nice?
Are you ready for a little Mexican food? Vohn’s Vittles has a great quesadilla recipe. We are TexMex addicts in this house, and this is a great recipe to whip up quickly.
Last, but certainly not least is Anyonita Nibbles’ Strawberry Sesame Salad. I’ve never had the one from Panera, but this looks amazing! I love the poppyseed vinaigrette she includes in the recipe.
Now are you ready for dessert?
First is a perfect treat for breakfast or dessert. Grumpy’s Honeybunch’s Banana Cherry Muffins has my husband’s favorite fruits in it. I can’t wait to surprise him with a batch near Father’s Day.
This Roasted Pear Puff Pastry was something I threw together on a whim while preparing a typical weeknight dinner. It’s drizzled in dulce de leche sauce. It’s quick and easy, and the taste is divine!
Need a healthy frozen treat? The Kitchen Chopper’s Cinnamon, Banana, Peach Choppedsicle might just do the trick! I love all the fruits and flavors in it!
Have you heard of a Coulis before? It’s a fruit or veggie sauce, and Vohn from Vohn’s Vittles has made a delicious strawberry one. I love these types of things and can’t wait to make it. I just bought a bunch of strawberries!
What’s perfect for summer time? Smores! And how about Smores Cupcakes! I made this up one night just for fun. With a graham cracker crust and stuffed with gooey marshmallows, they are sure to be a treat.
Lemon is another flavor I think of when I think summer time. Maggie from The Love Nerds has just an adorable little flower cookie filled with lemon, perfect for a summer time treat.
Aren’t they all such lovely recipes? Let me know if you try one!
